1. Who we are

Probapedia is an AI-assisted trading-education service. It teaches a probability mindset. It does not predict markets and does not issue buy or sell calls. This policy explains what personal data Probapedia collects, why it is collected, how it is protected, and the rights you hold over it.

2. Scope

This policy applies to the Probapedia application, the documentation site, and the public website. It does not apply to third-party sites you reach through links. Read their policies separately.

3. Information we collect

4. How we collect information

Directly from you when you register, sign in, send a message, upload a file, or contact us. Automatically when your browser interacts with the service. From our payment processor when a transaction completes.

5. Why we process information

6. Legal bases

Where the General Data Protection Regulation applies, we rely on: performance of a contract for account creation, service delivery, and billing; legitimate interests for security, abuse prevention, and service improvement; legal obligation for tax and accounting records; and consent for any optional communication you choose to receive. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.

7. Automated analysis and AI processing

Your messages and uploaded images are processed by automated analytical systems to generate educational responses. These systems are operated on our instructions and do not receive your name, email address, or payment details. Output is generated text and may contain errors. It is not financial advice.

Do not submit personal data belonging to other people. Do not submit confidential business information you are not authorised to share. Do not submit medical, legal, or financial records beyond what is necessary to study the concept you are asking about.

8. Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell personal data. We do not rent personal data. We do not trade personal data. We share data only with service providers that perform a function on our behalf under written data-processing terms. Those functions are: cloud hosting and data storage, authentication, AI inference, payment processing, email delivery, and security and abuse prevention. Each provider receives only the data needed to perform its function.

We may also disclose data where required by law, by a valid legal order, to protect the safety of a person, to investigate fraud or abuse, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or transfer of assets, subject to this policy.

9. Storage location and international transfers

Primary storage is within the European Economic Area. Where a service provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, the transfer relies on an adequacy decision of the European Commission or on Standard Contractual Clauses, together with supplementary technical measures. You may request details of the transfer mechanism that applies to your data by writing to the contact address in section 16.

10. Security

We apply technical and organisational measures proportionate to the risk. These include encryption in transit, encryption at rest at the storage layer, least-privilege access to production systems, storage of credentials outside the source code, per-user data isolation at the database layer, request rate limiting, abuse detection, and logging of high-risk events for review.

No transmission over the internet is completely secure. We work to protect your data and we do not promise absolute security.

11. Retention

12. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access your data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict its processing, to object to processing based on legitimate interests, to receive a portable copy, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

Export and deletion tools are available on the Account page and take effect immediately. For any other request, write to the address in section 16. We respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data-protection authority in your country of residence.

13. Cookies and similar technologies

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to protect the service against abuse. We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies, or profiling cookies. See the Cookie Policy for details.

14. Children

Probapedia is not directed at anyone under 18 years of age and is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, write to the address in section 16 and we delete it.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves. When we do, we update the date at the top of this page. Material changes are announced in the application at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated policy.
